What our visitors say about Culebra Doll House
"We were introduced to the Doll House by a few of our friends Andrea and Franklin. They took us with them to celebrate Franklin's birthday. I have to admit I was totally surprised at the beauty we found there. The beach is right outside the door and we sat and lounged and watched every amazing sunset from the front yard. In the morning we got up and drank coffee as we watched each beautiful sunrise, I am not an early riser, but I had to get up and watch, they were so gorgeous. I can not speak enough about how clean and well stocked the Doll House was. The kitchen was fully loaded with all that we needed for our meals and there is a grill out back on the deck for evening BBQ and drinks.
One of the most favorite things that I did while at the Culebra Doll House was go over to Zoni Beach. This is where the locals hang out. You can see all the way to St. Thomas when it is clear out. I enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the warm waters at this lovely and popular beach.
Once you get to Culebra you have a few options when renting a vehicle. There is Thrifty Car Rental which may be familiar to mainland people. But there are a few locals too that I would recommend like Jerry's Jeeps or Carlo's Jeep. I have heard good things about them and will try them out when I return again, as I know I will be coming back to the Doll House at Casa Azul.
There are a variety of local places to eat. Each uses fresh produce and local flavor. We found a number of delicious spots and not really recommend one over the other. I guess I did like and enjoy Barbara Rosa's when we had dinner there. Ms. Rosa cooks right in her kitchen so you are being treated to her best family recipes. We found the local people to be very warm and friendly.
We went snorkeling as few of the beaches, each one offers different opportunities. But the real wonderful part is that the coral reefs near Culebra are healthy and teaming with life and fish. It was great to go each beach and experience different aspects of ocean life. We loved Flamenco the best but Carlos Rosario was one of the best experiences and you can just hike there from Flamenco.
Culebra is just a great experience all around and not your normal touristy place. It is basically a quiet and undiscovered island paradise. We will certainly return again."

"We loved Culebra, particularly the beaches! We also loved the location of your
house. We hope to come back to Culebra and even the Culebra Doll House in the future."

"We just returned from a three-week stay at Casa
Azul, and loved every minute of it. Your property affords such beautiful views--we
couldn't have hoped for any better. And the house itself is very comfortable. We
especially enjoyed the two hammock swings on the front porch--we spent many mornings
reading in them, but only after taking in the sunrise views from the back deck.
The washer was an added bonus--we only used it once, but it was very handy.
Two more things to share with you: your information about the beaches was very helpful
to us, we referred to it often; and I'm not sure if Raquel at Vacation Planners
actually works for you or for a bigger company, but she is an absolute gem--we loved
her and she was extremely helpful with any questions or issues we had. She actually
loaned us a personal item or two to make our stay a little easier--I hope she is
being well compensated.
Hope to visit again sometime! "
